Harborough Town’s U18 Emerging Talent Programme (ETP) kicked off their pre-season campaign with a win against Nuneaton Griff on Monday night.
The U18s dominated the opening 45 minutes and raced into a 3-0 lead, with the pick of the goals coming via an expertly dispatched freekick from the edge of the box.
Nuneaton Griff came out much stronger in the second half but were unable to break down a resolute Harborough defence as the home side kept hold of their clean sheet.
Coach John Boseley was pleased with how his team stuck to instructions as they began preparations for the season in the best possible way.
Next up for the Emerging Talent Programme, the U23s will be taking on LFE on Friday 12th July, with kick off at 7:30pm.
