The 1st team returned empty handed from League Leaders Peterboro Sports. Sports raced into a 3-0 half time lead, the day was made more miserable when keeper Ben Dearsley who made the step up from the Reserves due to Glen Giles’s unavailability had to be replaced due to injury and with no keeper on the bench full back Callum Traynor stepped in. We reduced the defecit through a Harry May goal his 3rd in the last 2 games.
The Reserves faired better winning 4-0 at home against Thrapston, the first time this season that they’ve managed back to back victories. a spcial mention goes to Vets keeper Dan Church who stepped in at the 11th hour and kept a clean sheet.
