Queen Bees Match Report Harborough Town vs Hinckley Ladies

Share

Harborough Town faced an early setback in their latest fixture against Hinckley, conceding a goal in the first half. However, the second half brought a renewed determination for the Queen Bees as Honour Slater netted an impressive equaliser – and on her debut appearance, nonetheless!  Unfortunately for the home side, Hinckley regained the lead using their experience to put the home team on the defensive once more. Despite our Queen Bees tremendous efforts, which included some fantastic link up play between Scarlett Godefroy and Louise Clark on the right wing, Hinckley capitalised on their chances sealing a 3-1 away victory at the final whistle.

Coach Harry Fordham highlighted the QBs courage as they fearlessly attacked and will have learnt lessons as they played their first 90 minute 11-a-side match as a team. Huge congratulations to Honour Slater for earning Player Of The Match, as voted for by the team.
