A firm of estate agents has made a move to support Harborough Town by sponsoring a junior team.
Harrison Murray Estate Agency, based in the town’s High Street and part of the Nottingham Building Society, has kitted out one of the club’s under 11s teams thanks to a £650 commitment.
Customer Services Consultant Julie Gale’s 10-year-old son Harrison will be playing for the age group this season.
Julie said: “At Harrison Murray Estate Agency we are proud to serve the town of Market Harborough and the surrounding area and we’re also proud to be able to support one of Harborough Town’s under 11s teams.
“I have found everyone at the club to be very welcoming and friendly and also it has a great family atmosphere – it’s the same as our approach at Harrison Murray.”
Club Chairman Laurence Jones said: “We are a community club and survive and prosper thanks to the support of our local community, so we thank Julie and her team for supporting our under 11s team.”
Harborough Town is a community football club with more than 700 players aged from six to 70 representing 48 teams, which include boys, girls, inclusive, adult male, veterans and walking football (for 50 years old plus). They are embedded within the community and are passionate about seeing its first team climb the non-league ladder.
