The Club would like to send its congratulations and wish ex player George Thornton a successful career George is has this season been selected to represent Scotland U20’s Rugby team. George who was a member of the Club from 2002 – 2014 playing firstly for the Racoons while being coached by Dad Mark Thornton & Simon Gutteridge before developing as a centre half under Graham Moss’s stewardship. George while turning out for Harboro’ Town FC was also playing over the fence at Harboro’ Rugby Club and has since leaving school continued his education at Bishop Burton College where his rugby career has now taken off. We wish George all the best in his rugby career and hope to see him making his full international debut in the future.
