Early Sting Sees Bees Progress

Harborough Town   2
Shepshed Dynamo 1

Harborough Town are into the hat for the next round of the FA Trophy after beating Shepshed Dynamo in what was a repeat of the score line in the league.

Dodzi Agbenu got the hosts off to the perfect start after his left-footed shot rifled into the top right corner of the net to give the Bees an early lead.

Dynamo responded soon after through Sam Moore, before Harborough got their noses back in front through an own goal.

There were chances aplenty in the second half with keepers Jake Williams and Brandon Ganley both making excellent saves to keep the score line the same.

Dynamo had the ball in the back of the net on two separate occasions but referee, Ian Jackson, ruled them both out.

Speaking after the game, Bees manager Mitch Austin stated: “I am very pleased for the club to progress after a hard-fought contest.”
